Oh, Yes I Did.

God, I have missed having a truck (sorry Al Gore, Earth and my other car, the Prius). So, look what I came away with after a night of drunken bidding on eBay. Is there any other kind of bidding on eBay? If so, I am not familiar with it.

I have loved this car ever since I saw Baby Boom while I was pregnant with my child. Now I feel like I need one of those bumper stickers that says, "Wag More, Bark Less."

I think so.

The single best body styling of any SUV every produced by an American auto maker. I've always loved them as well. And it still has its hood ornament! Well done.

No WAY! I've always wanted one. Will you tell us how the gas mileage is? (yes I'm cheap). You need a wreath for the front for the holidays. Might as well just start making that country baby applesauce!

It's the only car that takes my breath away.

I, too, once succumbed to the preppy charms of a Woody.

Back in 2000, I made the Hubster buy me one. You can have a month's worth of groceries, a whole soccer team and a trampoline in the back of that thing. On a good day it did about 11 miles to the gallon. But I loved Our Bertha.

Why don't they make them like that anymore? The new SUVs all look like Nike sneakers.

Enjoy!

You got a car on Ebay?? I'm so impressed - I would be terrified. I love old Wagoneers. The only thing better is an old Woody!!

oh im so jealous. my husband and i just said "we need a wagoneer as a knock around car" ... i told him yes and navy blue.

Well, technically, since you bought it used, you are recycling. So good for that.

And at least you will get good utility from it. My ebay dream car is a '60s Cadillac convertible, which has no function other than as a parade float.

I am sending this link to my brother. He has one of these a 1970 I think. He is in love with it, it is almost obscene :) I keep teasing him that it looks like an old Formica kitchen. Besides you Do NOT want to be near it in the morning before your few cups of coffees, you can hear it from the north pole.
Still I have to admit it looks good.
Nikki you do not want to know about mileage, I think it eats up gas if you only open the door.

That is the PERFECT car. Other than the whole gas guzzling thing. But the Prius balances it out, right? (can't be worse than the gas-guzzling children-transporter we just bought that still give me pangs of environmental guilt). Love it. I want one, too.
