Some Gorgeous Gossip (and Early Alaskan Fireworks)...

You've heard that Sarah Palin resigned. Have you heard this?

EXCLUSIVE: PALIN RESIGNATION 'DAMAGE CONTROL' FOR COMING 'ICEBERG SCANDAL' ... MORE: EMBEZZLEMENT INDICTMENTS COMING?

FURTHER UPDATE from The Brad Blog: Okay, I've now been able to get independent information from multiple sources that all of this precedes what are said to be possible federal indictments against Palin, concerning an embezzlement scandal related to the building of Palin's house and the Wasilla Sports Complex, built during her tenure as Mayor. Both structures, it is said, feature the "same windows, same wood, same products." Federal investigators have been looking into this for some time, and indictments could be imminent, according to the Alaska sources.

Palin's Wasilla Lake House

True? Or just gossip? Only time will tell...

I wonder if this topic will come up tomorrow at my very Republican family's picnic?

Oh wait, they only like to bring up the Democratic scandals when I'm around.

Happy 4th HG!

Waiting for the iceberg here...

Her speech yesterday, psycho babble that it was, was incomprehensible. With her 15th utterance of the word "Alaaaaaskaa" I had to stop the video and go read the text. I think she has been dipping into the meth that is so readily available there, too, also in the Wasilla. Basketball.

"same windows, same wood, same products."

NO!! Wood is meant for good not evil.

Tisk, tisk! First nicking clothes and trips for your kids from the coffers and now this.

Why am I not surprised?

I am just WAITING for the other high-heeled red shoe to drop! CAN NOT stand the suspense! I tried to listen to her speech for a sign of what might be forthcoming, but two or three minutes in to the speech, my hands involuntarily covered my ears and I missed it :(

She's not pregnant again, is she?

Happy Independence Day, Alaska!

Poor, poor little Sarah. Why don't we all understand that she's different and the rules are different for her? Why, why don't we get it?

I still can't stand her.

loved your comment today. trust me, in person it doesn't look too busy! the room is pretty wide and a lot of plain seagrass shows. doesn't seem that way in the picture. don't worry - it won't stay this way for long. nothing seems to stay too long around here.

I personally will sleep better now knowing that she has time, real time to focus on national security, and country first, and mavericky things were taken away from her. Alaska is one lucky state. I wonder if President Obama waved to her when he was in Russia recently?

Heh.

I do not understand all the hatred toward Sarah Palin! I do believe many feel threatened by her or are just plain jealous.

kalliope said...

Yes, that must be it... we are threatened and jealous, it certainly can't be because we put our country first

you poor, poor, misogynist. I am suspect of anybody who reads huffington post and dislikes sarah palin.

you lefties have become unhinged wingnuts, and angry ones at that.

@ Anonymous Umm... so, the election was held a few months ago and the Democrats won the election (landslide, actually. It was so fun! Sorry you missed it) and now control both houses of Congress. Maybe FOX forgot to mention? Those bitter old people prancing around the Capitol in Betsy Ross costumes are your people, not ours.
