Happy Mother's Day from HG 1941.

A Scarlett O'Hara moment from House & Garden where the strawberry chintz curtains dress everyone and everything!

Have a nice day, y'all.

Well done, HG. That fabric kind of threw up all over the mom the kid and the room, didn't it? In the best possible way of course.

As a collector of textiles, I love seeing these kinds of pictures from the 1940's. As the Raina would say: Luerve.

Oh, it's okay, I say lurve, too. Oddly, we share many weird speechisms.

I also remember telling someone that his shop looked like "Christmas threw up in there... You know, in a good way."

He was not amused.
